Re: Sunset stirred my memory
#82... what posts were they in Jim ? Can’t remember any them and us and the wrong ones. Maybe I didn’t read. Like I suppose others I put a lock on anyone preaching hostility on site. Find it is the only way especially with those troll(s) who have a tendency to roam under different names. As Ivan says and I agree with him we have all learned from this site, me especially as regards passenger vessels. Not that the knowledge will do me any good. It takes a long time to teach an old dog new tricks, and I think most of us are. Settled and accept what we are, just olld men reminiscing about the past. Sometimes exaggerated sometimes not and the other way. Our deep secrets remain just that secret. Why should anyone want to break than train of a little trust that is there. Cheers JWS

Re: Sunset stirred my memory
I may have mentioned somewhere about sea lawyers being the wrong ones but was not inferring to anyone on site. I would still refer to them as wrong ones. So where’s the big controversy. People can call me what they like and Iwould just block their posts. Job and finish. If I didn’t want to be here I would go thats no skin off my nose, I choose to stay because of people I like and like to converse with. So where’s the problem??? Cheers tomorrow’s another day. Which we all hope to see that’s the main point to worry about not would be grievances that don’t exist. When I hopefully go back to uk I hope to meet an old chum whose birthday was the day after mine, and we usd to share the same party as kids from the age of 10, that means have known him for 71 years and although we used to fight as kids he is still a good friend and the only one of that era still alive. There are friends and friends and it’s what you put into itis what you get out. Cheers once again JWS.

Re: Sunset stirred my memory
John (JWS) The Wrong Ones were on Brian Bon Voyage thread,Bound For Tahiti #11.Instead of Gulliver just posting a nice message to Brian Bon Voyage he had to add this to it which was a bit out of order I suppose. To find it scroll down Forums to AWOL (at the bottom)once on you will see Brians post Bound For Tahiti.Or if you can type in Bound For Tahiti in the box at the top Advanced Search.

Jim, why perpetuate this, let's just call it a day, otherwise we'll continue to go around in circles, and none of us want that, lets get nautical and sail into happier waters together

I was thinking Antwerp and Danny's Bar, but be careful who you leave with, then onto Havana to meet up with Dolores and her girl friends, through Panama to Valparaiso to meet Maria and her girl friends in the Skandi Bar, then over to Kaimachi in Japan to meet up with Michiko, then onto Hong Kong for one last fling with Yvonne Choi in Kowloon before a long trip home via Suez giving time for all the injections to work! and arrive home with a clear conscience, or at least a clear something!

Well Jim, you are free to speak your mind on any issue, if it offends then that is maybe how you view it.
But as long as freedom of speech is allowed and is not used in a derogatory manner then all will be well.
