All the controversy started when the human rights or some small. Tributary off got their own way. We were brought up when filling in an application form you had to put on d.o.b. Height weight religion colour of skin tatto marks or other distinguishing marks fathers and mothers names sex and any other information required from you such as a photograph not taken in the bedroom, also fingerprints in some cases. I see no reason why not. In fact I would back every citizens samples of whatever it takes to distinguish them. Only villains try to hide in ignominy. Also had to supply referees for references. How can anyone do so when they don’t even know the person they had working for them. Instead of fingerprints of yesteryear everyone should give a sample of their DNA to be held by the government as a another weapon against terrorism at least. In recent years tens of thousands of unscreenedpeople have been allowed to cross borders where previously if you had a criminal record you were refused entry. Time governments got real or got out of government and let someone in readyto make the hard decisions needed. JWS.

#13.. Agree with you Thomas. Gulliver is one of those rare individuals who has the merit of being able to laugh at himself so does not have to take too seriously the slings and arrows of others. He makes the world go round and does not sit on his hands and moan about the world in general. He is like the writers of the Proverbs in the Bible there is always a message or moral there if you look for it. He should get an Oscar for some of his posts. He would be the obvious choice to be stuck on a desert island with. Although a recent post about girls attire has me having second thoughts. As long as there are people with his disposition all’s right with the world. Cheers JWS

Re: Blackbeard discovery
'Tis nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or by taking arms against a sea of troubles end them,
to sleep, perchance to dream and in that dream'
That dream under PC guidance could well become a nightmare of epic proportions, IC 2 and 3 may well become something else.
Poor old 'Chalkie' up in Yorkshire has to change his name now but to say he is something to write on an IC3 board with is confusing but no doubt Gulliver will produce a suitable name for him.
But what about the poor subjects of Niger in Africa, known for years as N1g..Er s now known as *****s because of PC.
As to the 'sock' drawer, that is empty now as I gave up wearing them years ago, never knew it would start a trend amongst the younger ones , but freedom of speech and movement of toes brought this to be, of course the beck not being willing to bend may have had some bearing on this.
Thankfully the climate here does allow for bare feet at all times which does remove the feeling that you are maybe in a cheese factory.

Re: Blackbeard discovery
Bare feet ok but when hit the hot (R)pavers may get too hot to handle like Maryln Monroe in one of her films. I never wear socks either in the summer unless going out dressed. Whose Chalkie ? If whom I’m thinking doesn’t have to change just a letter and doesn’t spell too well so he says. Js

hi j sabourn
your observations are still valid, except we now live in a world where the liberal elite are pretending that it is free, when the truth be told it is of a Orwellian concept that will unfold in time, and that change will be in my opinion that all new born children will be chipped at birth, this will then be the data base for everything that the government of the day decides will be needed, make no augment of whom will be responsible as the liberal left are the demigods

Re: Blackbeard discovery
As a man said to the Pirate,
'Where's you Bucaneers'?
'Side of my bucking head' he replied.
But here is one for those who knew Algebra at school.
(IC3./.IC2)x IC3 =
