Braid Anderson
Has anyone hears from Braid lately ? Braid was suffering from ill health you may recall, and bringing up orphans in PNG, hope his luck has changed, he was surviving on meagre means, and deserved a change in fortune, kt

Re: Braid Anderson
I and a few others I believe tried to help him out. Don't think he ever acknowledged so hope he received. On his second appeal left it up to others. Don't know what they Did, charity is given to those freely but is nice to know it gets to its destination. JWS

Re: Braid Anderson
I don't go on face book as often say this is the only media I go on. I had 3 attempts to send finally sent through on a bank trasferrance to some account number . Didn't know if he received the full amount or not which was quite substantial for that part of the world.for what I remember of Papua. However wrote it off some time ago. May have been my computer was down at the time.pleased he is still with us. JWS

Re: Braid Anderson
Thanks Marian I paid if I remember correctly 35 dollars bank charges from this end and stated to the nearest hundred What he should have received. Not something I could afford to do every week of the. Year. I may come across the receipt sometime. But is not worth looking for unless he didn't receive and can claim from the bank. The only people who knew apart from the recipient was myself and my bank. My wife didn't know, I would probably have got a clout along the ear if she had. Or ever does . Cheers JWS

Re: Braid Anderson
Braid may well be struggling to survive not only for himself but also for the kids he cares for.
He has taken a path that many would shun, taking on orphans in a foreign land where conditions are not the best.
I admire his strength of character to do so and wish him well.
I am of the opinion the world would be a far better place were there more of his ilk on it.

Happy daze John in Oz.
