Default This was a nice surprise

Well I click on quite a few of the Adverts that show up on the Site Page headers and this was a nice surprise to me ! Something Free and looks good too/
As I still have quite a long time left on my current Subscription of Norton Security Suite I will of course wait till that expires, then for sure I am going to try this new one (well not so new a guess) at the free offer!
As my Norton cost me $89 to renew each year!

So pays at times to click on the adds!
    Cheers

It looks to have most all the goodies that the Norton Security Suite has!

Been with McAfee since buying this computer but not happy Jan.

Spoke with my friendly Harvey Norman man and he sold me half price the latest Norton disc which will give me three years for $125
    Happy daze John in Oz.

I have had Macafee and Norton at various times, both useless in my opinion.
With Macafee PC got slower and slower, it took 12 hours to load up. Youngest son use a checking disc, found a deep seated virus, which Macafee had missed. Took an hour to eradicate the virus.
Changed to Norton, waste of time and money.
Now use Kapesky, runs in the background doesn't slow the PC down.
First year free , second year £10 to download.
    Regards
    Vic

    Hi
I use TotalAV, it is not free once you come to use it but it is very inexpensive.
It's big benefit is that it does not hog all the memory on your computer.
I have used it for about a year and had no issue with it.
    Go for it!
    Regards
    Chris

I have been running Zonealarm Pro+ well pleased with it. I stream live football during the season and some of the sites are dodgy, Russian , Ukraine and if there is a bug it is picked up immediately.

It's like a lot of products of this type, you can download and run for free and you can detect viruses for free but if you want to fix them, then you have to pay.
Something about a free lunch springs to mind.

There in lies the problem with so many. But some of the 'free' or low price do not go deep enough to protect you from the real malice ones.
