Back to normal
Well it is good to see the messroom is back to normal after the last run ashore when there was a mass brawl on No. 5 hatch. ( Politics )
John S. is complaining about the grub.......Vic is listening to his favourite music.......Cappy is being chased by fat bastards on scooters......Ivan has found his way home.
The ship sails on.

Here's one to back up your story cappy, in todays local rag there's a article about a woman in a Southend amusement arcade,
she crashed her mobility scooter into a game machine causing £3,500 of damage, it was all caught on CCTV and a very good
picture of her, she is in her forties and very obese actually she looks more like a bloke to me, anyway after she hit the machine
she rode off laughing, "funny old world we live in today innit". cheers JF

Here's another one from the same paper about another generation that is sadly coming to an end. A 93 year old WWII veteran
from Rochford has been awarded a Masters degree in military history, Major Frank Clark fought at Arnhem in the Grenadier
Guards "armored division" he spent 37 years in the army and was commissioned into intelligence, it took two years at University to gain his degree,he has a chest full of medals and at 93 is an immaculate man, there is not too many left like him.
He was born into a different world with different values, we lost so many good men like this in two world wars and now we are
seeing all they fought for being thrown away by lesser people. cheers JF

Geriatric Traffic Jam
Watch some younger drivers get frustrated when they encounter a Geriatric Traffic Jam. The old folks are trying to cross the road in an orderly fashion to get to a corner store only to discover it’s closed. At least a few of the motorists saw the humour in this geriatric traffic crossing.
