Its only a temporally problem lads the Members Of The English Pickers Society are a bit tied up in Europe for a while they will return soon............. There commonly known as MEPs.....

Hi shipmates,Farmers used gangmasters to harvest crops all around the U.K but many of the gang masters were crooks, they payed the worker very little after the extra s the rent for the sheds,{dorms} food and gloves, e.t.c they were lucky to make a £1 an hour? so the word gets around, so NO workers will do the job today.

A friend of mine who joined the police told the story of how when he was junior being sent to a village in hop picking season. There were 2 pubs and 2 policemen. At closing time the locals would look outside to see which copper was there. If it was the local man they stayed there. If it was the visiting copper, they went to the other pub for after hours drinks.
