The QE2 came down to the Inchgreen Drydock, t get her launch poppets removed and her bum scraped and painted.
A few months after she sailed, there was court case in Greenock, the man was accused and found guilty of stealing a complete set of cabin furniture from the QE2.

Keith, The clocks aboard her where clearly marked with a warning, Markings to indicate attempts to remove them had failed, that all the spares had been used up and they are actually wired in which makes removing then dangerous. Terry.
