EU entry toll
Its now being told on the news that to enter the EU will cost 5Euros, i am fed up with spouting idiot politicians and their scare talk, OK charge 5 Euros going that way, and we charge £5 coming this way, do they not think that will happen?, also yesterday the Frogs have said that Schengen border checks will be told to leave Frogland and return to UK, great !!, when illegals land here we return them whence they came, ie Frogland, the frog never learn, they think they can dish all the sh** one way, fling some back , rant over for today, tomorrow is another day, kt

Keith, I have always stated that whatever measures the EU impose on the UK we should reciprocate.

Re: EU entry toll
I believe our government think it's a good idea (we would be doing it also) as the applicant has to fill out a form in advance so we would know who is coming here.

Re: EU entry toll
The EU to my knowledge up until I left England in 1991 was a Free Trade area which I would imagine was ok with most of the public. The other bits I saw put into place the likes of fishing quotas imposed on the livelihoods of fishermen, and bit by bit wondered about the various laws being changed and imposed on the public, but then thought we had a duly elected government who would look after the welfare of the country. It took a couple of people to expose what was going on, and a democratic vote to come away from this abomination of being dictated to by a foreign power. The government whatever way you look at it has been telling porkies and is now time to adjust matters to suit and do what they have been instructed to do by the majority of British people. Anything less can only be seen as a take over by foreign interests. JS

Re: EU entry toll
A fee to enter any country is not unusual, some times in the form of a visa, or as it is here in Oz a sum attached to your airfare.
But with a visa at least you have some idea of who is entering the country and where they are from.
The system of open borders is the most stupid thing ever when it comes to security.

Happy daze John in Oz.
