    Default Large Envelope

Need a Larger than Larger Envelope to post a letter to here, 85 Characters long.

Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapiki maungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu is the longest place name found in

any English speaking country. Shortened to Taumata, it is the Maori name for a hill located close to Porangahau in New Zealand.
Roughly translated, it means. "The summit where Tamatea, the man with big knees, the slider, climber of mountains, the
land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one."

Only as we call it Llannfair PG.

Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll or Llanfairpwllgwyngyll (pronounced [ɬanˌvair puɬˈɡwɨ̞nɡɨ̞ɬ]) is a large village and community on the island of Anglesey in Wales, situated on the Menai Strait next to the Britannia Bridge and across the strait from Bangor. It is alternatively known as Llanfairpwll, Llanfair PG, or Llanfair*pwllgwyngyll*gogery*chwyrn*drobwll*llan*t ysilio*gogo*goch.

This puts me in mind of this old joke.

Two Southern American tourists were driving through Wales. They were famished and

looking for somewhere to eat. They arrived at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and decided to stop

there. Sitting down and seeing the cute blonde waiting tables, they decided to have some

fun. "Oh little darlin' come and take our order." After she had written it down she turned to

leave when the other one asked "Hey honey how do you spell this place?" She sighed heavily

and rolled her eyes. Putting her notepad and elbows down on the table she leaned over and

    catching his eye said

    " b- u- r - g - e -r - k- i - n -g"
