It is making big news here in some sections of the media, nothing like it for years.

With Boris dropping out it opens up a whole range of possibilities as to who , when and where to.

UK constitution is unlike that of Oz or USA not a written one. It derives from common law and parliamentary statutes.

A well known constitutional lawyer here was interviewed this morning on talk back radio about how the Britex may effect the world of finance and trade.

His view on this is very different to that of many including all who voted leave.

His view is that there is nothing in the UK constitution that make it compulsory for any government to act on the results of any referendum held in UK.

He also noted that Cameron did not enact the schedule 50 which is required to see the UK out of EU.

He claims that the new PM may have a very different view on the outcome of referendum no matter who wins the leadership of the government. He based this on the fact that if the current government were to go to the polls as soon as anew leader is selected they would most likely win and would then have up to five years in which to reach a situation that would suit better UK and EU. He is of the opinion that the EU, though standing tough, do not want to see UK out.

With politicians any thing is possible, here we have some who make promises then when they do not or cannot deliver they claim they were not core promises.

people power has spoken Europe has tried to break our land for hundreds of years and not won. only the Normans tried and took over for a while so this eu has no chance there would be meetings and red tape rules for the next 20 bloody years before anything would be done by then the whole eu will be gone in history and good riddance to it. the thing has never worked from day one. jp

Reading the paper this morning i see Theresa May is putting her hand up to take over from Cameron, She was telling people to stay in,there are five in the line for job. I never had the vote been away from England to long to be entitled. But i don't think it would be an ideal choice to put her in, she says in the artical i have read, she would not trigger the exit process until next year! I should think the people who voted to leave would want it started long before next year. I know i would.If it was to pay them more money she would build a bigger through right away.
