I think that most members here would agree that all politicians are lying, thieving bersterds who are out to feather their own nests.
In addition we all are suffering from the effects of political correctness where to call a spade a spade will most likely lead to you been given a huge fine and imprisonment.
Now the BBC has been told equality to truly reflect its viewers. by some plonker MP (Tory) that it must embrace "political diversity" alongside social and sexual equality to truly reflect its viewers. To comply? with this the BBC has announced new diversity targets which stipulates that 1 in 6 of all on screen roles must go to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or disabled people. It will also include the requirements that staff disclose details of their family income and upbringing to avoid the corporation being dominated by the middle classes.
What absolute tosh!!!!!!
I like the BBC, it puts out some excellent programs but I certainly do not want to watch gay men or lesbians kissing, nor watch bisexuals and transgender's putting on a show. I agree there where the plot lines call for it and it is valid that disabled people can and do make an excellent on screen presence.
If the beeb has a left wing bias then surely it is up to the individual to make up their own minds (or not to bother listening) about political, economic matters etc. So long as the FACTS are presented correctly then it is up to us to decide upon them.
It is bad enough that self serving politicians are attempting to interfere and control our daily lives without imposing their views on our T.V. viewing.

John, not only as you describe but the Pollies are looking into the comptition between BBC and ITV.
Apparently they don't want Come Dancing and the ITV equivalent to go head to head. If they do BBC must moves its progs to suit ITV.
I don't like Come dancing or the ITV prog. that goes head to head with it. Surely the choice should be the viewer not the government.
Most people have a reciorder or access t on an I player, that they can watch later.

then the Big blackman is giving Tracy one quite regular, then at the same time he is giving the Blonde Landlady of the Rovers Return Pub one.
Then the Black Taxi Driver is giving the Blond Landlady one as well.
The Ginger haired lad was going to marry into the Pakistani family`s daughter, but the son of the blackman gave her one so there was shame on her and the marriage was called off.
Tracy killed two people by setting fire to the flats, but has got away with it, She had previously killed her husband but is still free,
Mrs Platt found a Burglar robbing her home, so she gets married to him, then he left and moved in with the blond lady across the street who used to be married to the blackman. So now he has left and is selling ice cream in Bournemouth, [Hope he has washed his hands,]
Now her daughter in law kills the man who had given her a son who is now adopted by the son of Mrs Platt, while he was on top of his sister, so they put his body down the drain and built a house extension over it for Mrs Platt to sleep in.
Tyrone was married to a black lady had a baby but she beat him up and now she is in gaol so he has moved in with Fizz who has a child with someone else. so now they have two kids one white and one khaki, The Indian from the corner shop used to give Barlows wife, Deirdre, one then his wife got killed in a fire at the pub and the man who was giving the land lady one was sent down for it. Then the Indian is giving his baby sitter one and now a new shop assistant is giving her one as well.
Peter Barlow was married to a ginger haired florist but she dies and with the new baby moves in with another blond girl in the street but no one notices that the baby now grown up into a teenager who is a half cast. Peter turns alcoholic went to gaol, got drunk in gaol on moonshine made by a fellow prisoner, Jim , who was married to the blond Landlady of the Rovers pub.
He went to gaol charged with killing Tina who had a surrogate baby for the ginger haired lad and a girl who was in a wheelchair and unable to have one, then he is cleared and Tracy`s husband, Rob, is then charged with the murder and goes down for it so Peter comes out and disappears to Portsmouth.

Ena Sharples must be spinning in her grave. All this in half a dozen houses. and there`s more........................

JA,Unlike you,I do NOT like the BBC.
Like many another large corporation it has been an unwieldy,corrupt,self-promoting,self-governing,self-regulating institution for over many decades now. It grooms,nurtures and engenders loyalty in it's grateful inner circle usually by feigning ignorance of or turning a blind eye to their exploits then can drop them in an instant should it be in the corporation's interest to do so.Jimmy Saville for example was just the tip of the iceberg,not just concerning paedophilia but other forms of corruption too.

A nasty,sinister institution and it's monopoly and powers should be broken and disbanded.

The BBC News used to be good and impartial, but now it has a very censored news. I watch other news channels but the BBC do not cover as many stories. I believe Fony Bilar installed some of his cronies into Higher positions in the BBC.
I get a lot of good news that is never reported on BBC from RT Russian TV. on channel 135
