The Inside passage is very scenic.
Goes up between the mainland and Vancouver Island
If you do the cruise, sail out of Vancouver.
Seattle goes up the outside. Nothing to see there as open Pacific.

Think the word is out to the Brits
The largest Jumbo jet, British Airway from London, landed in Vancouver yesterday.
Biggest plane ever to do so.

You got it in one Den, nothing to do with Greek islands. The cruise is out of Los Angles I believe and according to some we know who have done it very good.

As to the new jumbo, we have had them here for some time, I thought the Wright brothers has given up flying to Canada but no doubt will do now with competition.

The last time i visited Comox on Vancouver Island, we flew back to Vancouver, and after takeoff the pilot informed us that there was a problem at Vancouver airport, and as it was not worth landing again we would do a flyabout, so for about 45 mins we flew all around the inshore passage. Sure is a beautiful area, and was a bonus flight, kt

Sailing out of Vancouver you are on the Canadian dollar.
Also don't think any ships out of the U.S. do all of the 'inside passage'
They do advertise such, which technically is true.
However you miss the scenery of Vancouver Island, and dozens of small Islands.
I know as I once made the mistake of sailing out of Seattle.
Guess it could also depend on the British Pound to the Canadian or Yankee Dollar.

Talking of Canada being cheap certainly not in Montreal.I was there on a container ship in 2000,made my way to the old CPR berth (now a marina)to have a look around to all the places we frequented,House of Scouse now a Italian restaurant Joe Beefs demolished. The dock road as we knew it all changed a bit yuppified, trees etc and people on roller blades.Called into a bar opposite the CPR berth had a small beer $3.20 tended £4.00 no change, change right into waitresses apron pocket.I stood by the bar as I wanted to ask for directions, the waitress must've thought that I was hanging about waiting on my change and let everyone in the bar know about it,in a very loud voice "Would you like your change back sir".Walked upto St.Catherine same size beer $1.50. St Laurent Blvd now China Town with a great set of Chinese Gates.
