Hear,Hear.
This is so trivial hardly worth a mention,I suppose one could say it is educational and I think everybody likes to learn something new everyday.I notice this said (or posted) by a couple of people yesterday,in order to applaud someone they say "Here Here" or even "Ere Ere" the correct saying is "Hear,Hear it comes from say in parliament "Hear Him,Hear Him." If you were calling a dog then it would be "Here Here. That is the end of the lesson for today.
Regards.

Re: Hear,Hear.
I still remember the teacher who taught me that when I was 12 years of age,a big Irish man Mr.O'Flynn.I often think about those days and Mr.O'Flynn who always refered to me as Fat Boy,so it was fat boy be quiet, fat boy come out here etc, imagine him calling a kid fat boy today. The thing was it didn't bother me and I thought it quite amusing.
Regards.

Re: Hear,Hear.
Remember one teacher, he also taught my father, and was a product of the first world war. He always called the boys by girls names, and the girls by boys names. I was sally Sabourn. Just think if he was still alive could maybe make on he upset my equilibrium re sexual orientation. When he died he was friends with some of my wifes relations and they got the job of clearing his house out, which they passed the job onto us for the clearing out and sending furniture to the Sales Rooms. His wife died many years before him, and he died in the late 60"s. He still had half of the wedding cake under the bed. Some of his wifes personal items used I might say tucked away in draws, old Fivers tucked away in pages of books, and his old tin hat from his time in the trenches. However I wonder how he would of got on with the PC brigade re name changing. He also used to throw the Blackboard duster at you with unerring aim either that or a piece of chalk. Sally S. PS He also had every edition of the Eagle Comic which also went to the Sale Rooms, but never appeared for sale and mysteriously disappeared the robbing baskets. JS
