we shall watch it and pull for the west, (go Edmonton go !!).
some of you may not know what the Grey Cup is so.......it is the equivelent to the F.A. cup final in the UK. only played under Canadian Football Rules, very much like American football. teams are from the East vs. the West of Canada. the venue moves from city to city each year.
this year it is being held in Winnipeg with a nice cool tempreture of -5c. that should keep them hopping.

Hi Keith, As I am a true west coat man. I always think that anyplace east of Vancouver is not west. In fact Vancouver is east of Vancouver Island. [ confused yet!]I did pull for Edmonton.
Stayed home to watch the game. As you say. Not the same anymore. Just as well. I can't handle it like I used to.

Homeward bound,ship stopped off in Workington.
Paid off in Liverpool and got the train right back there.
Never did make it home that trip.But thats another story!.
