    Default USA/Russia

Last night on a news bulletin it said that the Foreign Minister of Russia was going to have talks with the USA obviously in the form of John Kerry about fighting the same common enemy ISIS and the other renegade groups in Syria and surrounding countries. It has taken many years and countless lives for both countries to get together to any extent on this subject. Many on this site have been advocating this for a number of years now and is the only answer to a problem caused once again by politicians having more concern for their own loss of face rather than peoples lives. It could have been stopped years ago, as the public see it there is and has always been this big gap between Russia and the USA, the propaganda put out by both sides has always been of a political nature, politics should be put to one side in cases like this otherwise it will be put to bed permanently. HI John.
Last nights news, one of the main leaders of Isis is a Chechnian mus%$#@m fighter who was trained in Georgia by US special forces when they were fighting the Russians, going back a few months a Russian sniper was beheaded by Isis makes one think that he was there to assassinate the bloke.
Russia wants to bring the fighting to a close hence their talks with the US, what a coup for Obama if he can put aside his prejudice and cooperate and bring this thing to an end, thousands of those refugees would go back home as I doubt the Syrian Govt would take any retaliatory action with the world watching unless there were war crimes committed.
    Cheers Des

The figures given out by the press whether right or wrong are that there are 2500 ground Russian troops already in Syria and have been for some time. Alas the storys one gets with a press only content on selling newsprint is not always very accurate, but is probably very belated news and close to the truth as they know it. It stands to reason if Russia and China was backing the efforts to extinguish the problems of the middle east they would diminish very rapidly. When the factions source of armaments dries up they are finished for starters, to do this.. It only takes a combined effort from the US and Russia, and its all over red rover. JS

#2... Seems a lot of these ex anti Russian fighters were trained by the US. Wonder how many of them keep on looking over their shoulder to see if any of their former instructors are trailing them. They usually get knocked off their perch once they have passed their usefulness, as Obama bin Lid found out to his regret. JS

Who supplies the weapons is of more importance I consider. Russia, USA, China all have their fingerprints on this one. But could it be one of two things. Russia is concerned some of the 'refugees' will go there, or they want to big note themselves with USA and rest of the world!
    Happy daze John in Oz.
