Re: labour party leadership
##when david miliband was mp for south shields every restaurant and decent cafe was filled with pictures on the wall of him shaking the owners hand .....after he had recieved the freebie .......being confronted by him as i walked into a award winning chippie....he stuck out his hand ...so i put out my hand inreturn although he was not a person i liked ...it was like holding a lump of old fish and his grip was asweak as a child....it made me flinch if a man gives a handshake like a child i feel his character shows through ...to me he is a weak man ....just my view.......cappy

#15, You are a much better person than me cappy, I would never shake the hand of a politician I did not respect. Would always be civil........... unless it was the Blairs and one or two others then hubby would need to drag me away

Re: labour party leadership
Hi John.
I think it is a new thing for MPs, out here in Aus every politician has an idiot at the back of him nodding, sometimes a man? sometimes a woman, I can't see a backpack on their backs with a little hand sticking out shaking the head from behind, but some times when the MP moves off they still stand there nodding
Doo DEE Doo Dee.
Cheers Des
