Just Awful
Apparently in the UK when reaching 80 you receive an extra 25p per wk, what would you spend yours on?

Oh Fred, I don't know what price a lotto ticket is but I think I would blow it on that, once I have saved enough of course. Easy come easy go and all that

I've diligently paid my dues into the scheme over the decades but my insurance is capped to the last time I became a non-resident. My fruit trees and rolled oats with honey and banana for brecky have still given me a good return on the premium even though I miss out on the 13 quid a year. Richard

Re: Just Awful
Any idea what a Euro ticket costs, think I'd hold out for that one, as it seems to roll over to a colossal amount
Had to look up Health lottery, didn't realise it existed.

Re: Just Awful
Euro Lottery tickets are £2 per play, 2 lucky star numbers at the end makes it harder to win, that's why the prizes go so high due to less winners.

Re: Just Awful
I'd spend it on a mighty booze up, like the one I had in 1958. I think that's about how much it cost me!

#9... You might even get 10 woodbines out of it as well Braid. Don't know about the aspirins for next morning though. I would buy a savings stamp from the post office if they still existed. Draw it out when 100 and then go on a bender, and forget to wake up, the day after receiving a card from whatever Monarch (if there is still one in, and not the Sheik of Arabia). Cheers you lucky people with all these good hearted politicians the UK is famous for. Cheers JS
