Train from bloemfontein
Here is a very interesting video of a train going home to Scotland by ship from Bloemfontein loaded down the hatch in Durban and shipped home after 40 years, good music too,
Vernon would like it.
Cheers

Re: Train from bloemfontein
That takes me back many Years too Capt
When I was a Steward on the South African Railways in the Mid 1950's ,used to stop there many a time on our way to Johannesburg from Cape Town on the then old Bullet (Double Header South African Class 25 4-8-4 Engines) that ran through the Great Karoo.
Some wonderful memories of those trips!
I loved the Trains!
Cheers
