We heard about the 'Super Rats'here in Oz yesterday.
Good idea Brian but i fear no self respecting rabid dog would ever touch one of them, they might catch something!

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Super rats
Rats on the German Supply ship Charlotte Schliemann i think the Germans trained them to annoy the pows down in the bottom hold because when we tried to get to sleep they would run all over you and kept you awake infact some one would often scream out that the rats were pestering them .

Re: Super rats
The biggest Rats I ever saw were both in French Ports
In Petit Couronne near Rouen, we used to discharge wax and there was one rat there that was humungous, living under the hot pipelines and feeding on the wax drippings.
The other place was in Bayonne where due to bad weather we had to shift from our tanker loading berth where we were ranging up and down heavily due to the swells setting in, to a berth further up river just by and old grain elevator and the size of the rats there put even those that you saw in the USA around the grain terminals there, especially on the Mississippi.
