I am not supersticious touch wood, but never cut your nails or hair on a Friday. Never wash on a Friday if the ship is to sail that day as you will wash yourself away. But it is Ok to kiss the mother in law ona Friday if you are going away as with a bit of luck she will be gone by the time you get back.

John having an haircut on sailing day a Friday didn't matter one jot in Ropner's you always had plenty of bluddy time to let it grow before you saw home again! Anyway I never cut the hair on my nails

For the past three weeks I have been trying to get a password sorted with Yahoo for my retiree's website. At last! Got them on them same wave length and 'Eureka"!! It's on my home page www.qioldies.org and as the group were started up by shipping company and pioneer merchant there is a link from it to this site. PHEW!!!
