Re: Offspring
If the frock has shrunk can always put it on the rubber doll, and inflate to the required size. The sussies are very hard to get now so they would also be useful. Doesnt matter about the panties as they are surplus to requirements. Rusty Rita who you sent sometime ago must have sunk somewhere off Fremantle. Didnt like saying at the time, but the recent search for black boxes may have been her emitting swear words about the person who sent her on such a hazardous voyage. Hope you have been washing the dress with Omo. Cheers John S

Re: Offspring
Hi John
Ma Gleasons..
When I was in Auckland in 2005, I was looking for Ma Gleasons and could not find it.
I was stood next to some spare ground that had obviously once had a building on and the ground cleared.
I stopped a friendly Policeman and asked. Where is Ma Gleasons, ?
He told me , it was here and it had been demolished a year before.
He said a Pom called Cappy had wrecked the bar and so it was unrepairable so the building had to come down,
So it has been gone these last ten years.
Cheers
Brian.

Re: Offspring
He"s a one man demolition squad that Cappy. Was complaining about holes in the old Avonmoor, it was probably him putting them there with his chipping hammer. JS

# 23.... Was in 2009 had 1 night in Auckland doing a round the world trip. This female got talking too, asked her about Ma Gleasons, she knew it as Gleasons and she said it was still there, she lived in Auckland. Unless there is another hotel in Auckland called Gleasons. Will find out definetly when there unless anyone else has further info. Cheers John S

Re: Offspring
If they are a bit dodgy looking Lou give them Cappy's details , he knew a few dodgy women in the Ferry Tavern South Shields , so is used to dealing with them and their offspring , especially if they have a wooden leg

Re: Offspring
John, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Gleesons is no more -- it is now a yuppy block of apartments. However there is a very nice restaurant / bar on the street level and on the other end of the street ( the Nautical Museum end ) there is Danny Doulans, an Irish pub which gets a bit lively at times. Regards Peter in NZ.
