    So many fail to see the real beauty of this world concentrating instead on the surface superfiscial items.

    Yes when you look at something like that,you realise just how wonderful the World we live on is!

    So thought provoking, Marion. And how lucky those who have the eyes and the will to observe such beauty have been given the medium to do so.
    I must say though, the white cockatoos that started to chew the railings on our back verandah have been sternly rebuked.

    certainly looks beautifull without the smokestacks paved over fields and polluted lakes and rivers , I guess that's hat it will revert too after humans are extinct

    Speaking of the 1812 overture, it was often played at Royal Albert hall. A new conductor was appointed and a patron asked ,'will you still play the 12 minutes past six overture'?It has also been refered to as the one eight one two as well.
