EH EH Les i have drunk a lot of different Aussie beer and some of it is only fit for cleaning the drains VB is the only beer i did not mind but most of the Aussie beer is of the lager type .In NZ we have a bigger variety now with a lot of imported beers but my favourite is Speights its matter of preference

Yeh I still pine for the good old English pint in an old type pub and every time I watch one of those UK shows where they are supping on a pint it brings it all back to me. Lou you know the reason for Aussie beer being served icy cold? It is because that way it does not offend anyone's taste bubs. Do they still have those taps on the end of the garden hose over there in NZ and just walk up and down the bar filling up the glass. I must admit though I am one lucky bugger as I do not posses one iota of a taste bud and only go for affect not taste but even some beers here really test me out LOL.
