Spot on AJ!
It is the Tofua and it is in the Pacific Islands or New Zealand. I wonder where though?
Evan, Brian, it is not Slow Starvation and Agony and that is not boat drill or some of the crew jumping ship.
Vernon, Brian, USS Co of NZ is correct. Apologies for all the dust on the slide!

Location
Aha Vernon, I do know and the quiz is not complete until someone comes up showing they know.
I am told I have to do some chores and to get off this computer. Under these circumstances I will be back this evening (this morning GMT).

At a guess!
As the Tofua was built for Pacific Island Cruises mainly,i would then say somewhere in the Pacific Islands!
Lets guess at Vavau Tonga!
If it was her Maiden Voyage in 1951 then could have been any one of the Pacific Island Ports ,or could also well be somewhere in NZ!??
As that is a private Slde Richard it is going to be very difficult to guess the correct location!
Cheers
I will if not the above Pic take my choice from the following! LOL!
Lautoka, Suva, Nuku'alofa, Vavau, Pago Pago, Apia,Alofi ,Auckland
