According to some beliefs on creation, If, as Mr Darwin believed we, as human animals evolved from apes, why then do we still have apes?

Possibly they were the throwbacks,and with time created their own species as they are Today@

I used to see a few Apes and Neanderthals in Mary Bashems in Sydney when I was a lad.
They must have been throw backs from way back.
