After reading some of these "medications" today all those mothers would be locked up and the children adopted for Child Cruelty.

I just thought of another. If in the winter months road repair was underway, every child with a cold was made to stand around the mobile tar boiler and breath in the fumes. I am not sure if it was the tar fumes or the massive influx of casinogens into our baby pink lungs that made breathing a little easier.

    Cheers, Rodney

In the 50`s i was given great big jars of cod liver oil and malt, because i was so underweight at school, used to love the stuff, great big spoonfuls at a time. Now at 72 i am a great big fat sod, so it must have worked KT
