hi den with regards to your #2.
did the mirror fall on him?. i was told he had alarge mirror over his bed on the yacht.i saw his yacht once in miami, next to george formby's.
brian.(kong) you say he did not like fighting in china. i understand he went fighting in the spanish civil war and nearly got sacked by his studio.

That is right Alf, he did a spell in the Spanish civi war too , I forgot to mention that.
He sure got arouind. It is in his book , "My Wicked Wicked Ways."
