My first 5 years on various ships, had always wanted to go to Japan, and then last two trips to sea both went to Japan. The first time, was courtesy of Cuba, as that was supposed to be Thames-Cuba for sugar-Thames, but diverted instead to Durban for grain and Japan, plus many other ports, and home after 10 months, but loved our visits to Japan.
