Re: Climate Change
This should really appear under 'Plonkers are everywhere' but is apparently climate change assistance. Bristol is banning all diesel cars by March 2021. Diesel buses and HGVs plus diesel delivery vans are not included in the ban. Public services do not cover all the city and outlying districts when people need to travel through the city to get to work. The mayor has said that car owners should be making arrangements to change their diesel cars to other types of cars such as petrol/hydbrid/electric or use public transport (which is non-existent) nor does he say where people are to get the money from to change their cars

most diesel cars have particulate filters but if their buses are anything like round here they can belch out clouds of cr-p. Many are very old and the people who maintain them should be congratulated for keeping them running which is exactly what the owners want, less investment in new kit.

Re: Climate Change
The problem with solution and diesel cars is the direct result of Government policy, the labour government of the day encouraged people to change to diesel cars, kt
