As I have already explained to JS the exact sum is now 3/9 and three farthings.

He also changes her wooden leg for the one which is 3 inches shorter to cut back on the odds of her winning. JS

I did hear that when the song, 'Jake the peg' came out that was when Mary lost he wooden leg.
She offered it to Jake so he could fill the part.
