while agreeing with all posts don't you think if the so called poor countries could work out what they can do? there are hundreds of thousands of square miles of rich land so why do people starve in Africa India trillions of litres of water under ground why do they thirst we give aid but aid should be given as a last resort not expected. the workers in countries that give are finding it hard enough to live and feed their own who would ever believe there would be food banks here people living on the streets unable to get a roof over their head I am sure we at some stage hit hard times but we worked to put us back on track they just hang around for the next aid truck and its the powers that be just give money away like confetti this is not a law this is just not acceptable to the workers of our country.just my view jp

If i could i would make this country just like France and ignore the EU rules. If they want to deport an undesirable they do so they dont worry about human right infringements and now they have just won on head gear, imagine us bringing this rule in in this country.

jim we are just as toothless as them in the eu we should learn to say no!! why MR CAMERON has kicked of about a new leader when we supposed to be having a vote on staying or going?? could it be that promises of a vote is the carrot for him to stay close to the trough. people should ask any candidate at the next election if the party is going to give the vote and ask for it in writing and see what they do? the same law in France has by the eu is the same here but will we make it law NO CHANCE of banning the hijab yet walk into a bank with a hood up or a shop you will not be served its a them and us society now so as not to rock the boat?jp

The one thing, if I could, would be to impletement threads 1# to 13# inclusive with a proviso that I could implement any other sensible suggestion made by members of this site.

before any person at the point of applying for a visa should be given some sort of rules of great Britain {to be drawn up} saying visa could be revoked for any crime at all and deported within 7 days no appeal that would be done in country of origin? and paid for by that country. prisoners after sentence here the same sentence would be carried out on foreign soil and never allowed back here or sentence doubled. English would be the only language spoken in England? schools would all be the same curriculum any person born here or not going to wage holly war will give up the right to British citizenship and will surrender passport never to come back weather family here or not?/ that's about it for now??jp

the more we put our points the more we feel we have lost our way of life and are rapidly being taken over by powers beyond our control unless we start saying no and meaning it to other people pushing us around ? my time over I think I would have gone into politics?jp

The fact is that if the west keeps control of finances and food supplies to some countries as in #11 then they can control the people there. Feed them too well and they gin strength not only physicaly but politicaly andf would pose a threat to the west. Same with som eof your own who live on the bread line, it is a gov way of keeping them under control, though as seen with the french Revolution it can come back to bite them on the bum.

Things are changing here in Oz. A number of Australians of ethnic origin who have gone to fight in Iraq will not be allowed back into the country. Laws have been passed that will see their passports cancelled and they are now on their own. The gov has also adopted a policy of turning boats back and since this gov came to office no boats have arrived, under the previous Labor we were getting 3 or 4 a week all coming from Indonesia with persons from a nuymber fo countries all of whom paid people smugglers to get them here. Maybe the UK gov should consider some of these ideas!
