    Default Colonoscopy - A musical

This is a very old one but it is still a laugh whenever I hear it.

Reminds me of the first colonoscopy I had many years ago. Think it may have been done little different then as when I came too my guts were blown up like a balloon, they had inflated me with some inert gas before starting. I cotton wool plug was placed in my rear end and when the nurse ermoved it i sounded like a balloon being let down.

As you floated down from the ceiling, eh John? Disastrous.

The preparation was a darn sight worse than the observation. My last check up last September was with a camera and as I was facing the screen lying on my side with the Doc making his observations to his registrar, it was as interesting as a visit to the Catacombs.

I was only giveb a muscle relaxant for my last one September 2013. Watched it all on the screen as they went mining with the camera and probe. Saw the Polyps as they came up and felt it when they cut them off. And all the time they were chatting away as if no one was there.

Why is it that the medical profession always seem to think that when they are doing any internal examination of our bodies or carrying out a minor operation, we are all eager to view what they are viewing?
I had a minor op years ago to remove a cyst on my leg and the doctor was most insistent that I watched him removing it on a screen set up for the purpose and then insisted on dangling said cyst in front of me. Was he trying to prove that as I had gone private that he had actually done the op. so was due his moolah or what?
Then a few years ago with stones on the prostrate again they stuck a screen in front of me showing what the camera was seeing as they stuck it up my penis and then the back end.
I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN SEEING THE INSIDE OF MY BLADDER OR THE INSIDE OF MY BOWELS, only in getting the dam problem sorted out but still they insisted on showing me bits of my body that only the medical or undertakers profession ever see.
Are they perverts, torturers or what?

I think paper bags should be optional for these procedures, as my doctor also insisted on conversation with me during the camera probe whilst the nurse held my hand. What's normal about lying on left side, head turned to the right talking to complete stranger with a camera inserted? Mortifying!

    Another thing
Why do they always have you lying on your left side? Are all the quacks performing these procedures left footers?
