Welcome Aboard Diane !
You might want to have a good look around the Helderline site (Shell Tankers) , scroll down to shipmates and perhaps leave a message?, or post a general enquiry to the owner of the site ,who I'm sure would make an announcement?.Click HERE

Re: Hemicardium
Diane,
This is a photograph of the Hemicardium when she was "San Fernando" Eagle Oil Shipping Co. Ltd. before Shell took over the Eagle Oil Company. I was Galley Boy on her in 1957/1958. Sorry I cannot be of any further help to you.

Good Luck

Re: Hemicardium
Hello Diane
Good advice there from Gulliver to start.
Can you give his place and DOB ,as this would help I am sure!
I say that as if we can get his Seamans Papers from there possibly there may be something that would assist!
The Ship Logs should show information as to what happened etc!
Cheers
Thanks for joining and Welcome!

Re: Hemicardium
Hi Diane,
I joined the "Hemicardium" on March 1st 1965 in Hamburg. Your fiancée would have I suspect been onboard then as we took it out of dry dock to Curacao then back to Thameshaven where I paid off. Sorry can't help you further, all I can say that it was a very happy ship crew wise. I wish you good luck in your search.
Kind regards.

Re: Hemicardium
Hello Diane
This will be his Seamans Pouch which will have limited info but need to look for his CRS10 which will have more info.
Then from there you can get the Crew list for that Voyage which should have Logs listed as well. All my Crew lists I got have all incidents on board .
Hope this will help.

I think this will be his CRS10 if still existing Diane,
