T.S. Royalist
Hi All
My 13 year old Grandson is in the Sea Cadets, next year he is booked for 6 days aboard the T.S. Royalist a 2 Masted Brig owned by the sea cadets. It's based in Gosport Hampshire, the plan is they go sailing for a few days then on the last day they sail up to the pool of London go under Tower Bridge then dock.
I think it will be quite an adventure for him, as the vessel is only 103 tons g.r.t I'm sure he will get his sea legs ( hopefully ) !
A proud Nanny & Grandad will be on the dock to greet him, also I'm quite sure his Nanny will embaress him ( Big Time ) with kisses of relief that he made it.
If you are interested you can " Google " it , there is a couple of good pictures on there
