Hi Mike, I was there aug. 59 - nov. 59, the whole 10 weeks spent in hut C3. Your diagram of C section is not correct. What you have marked as C3 was the washroom, C3 was below and in line with this. The camp boundary was getting narrower as it neared the entrance to the steps and there was no hut directly facing the entrance to C3. C4 is where you have marked C5. There was no C5.
Hope you can understand this.
Regards,
Bob

I dont think I will be there at this years Re Union, first time missed in 19 years,
.
My leg is no better, it is my left one and is used up and down on the clutch, so is very painful and swollen. So a journey of 350 miles round trip is a No No. That was caused by too many whiskies on the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
.
Also the gut is still bad with the gall stones so that is a bit dodgy camping on the field.
I guess its the price of growing old. tho` it is better than the alternative.
Hope to be there next year.
Cheers
Brian.

Thanks for that Alf,
I doubt very much that I would be able to claim Disability. I was born in England of English heritage dating back to the Vikings in 9th century. So my immigrant status has now expired.
If I iwas was born in Afghanistan or Pakistan of Islamic heritage then I would certainly get it.
Good idea tho`.
Cheers
Brian.
