Re: New Carriers
There are I am informed already some crewless aircraft similar to drones.
So the concept is not beyond possibilities.

Re: New Carriers
I kid you not.
Couple of years ago one bright spark sent one dollar in a note with a Drone to the Bunnings store Saturday morning for a snag in a slice.
He got it on the return run.
Quite amazing what can be done with a Drone.

Re: New Carriers
Well, apparently its very successful so far, and used regularly , so maybe the mail could be delivered in a similar way. Quite often in the winter with thick fog our mail is delayed. Short clip on youtube, its quite a big drone with a range of 600+ miles, kt

Re: New Carriers
So we have an aircraft carrier in, say, the sea of Japan, a drone on it's deck and it's pilot in some Scottish RAF base twiddling a joystick, what could go wrong???

Victoria, you were doing so well until the last line. Why did you have to bring politicians into it??
