New Aircraft Carriers
According to the Express online the RN has insufficient manpower to man the new carriers. The RN may struggle to man one but not two. Estimates that the RN needs 5,000 additional men to man the carriers, two crews on, two crews on leave one on training. Any ex MN fancy signing on?

Re: New Aircraft Carriers
#1.. Thought it wasn't so long back that the powers that be were cutting back on manpower in the Navy. If so, shows their powers of forward planning leave a lot to be desired. At the time of the announcement re cut backs Navy Chiefs were shouting about it, maybe the pollies were the last to know about ships having to be manned. Or maybe another devious plan to draw on European naval crews for manning British ships. However if come out of Europe will finish up with egg on their faces. JS Additive to this post if European crews used on British ships will also signify the loss of the White Ensign and will be replaced by the Euro Flag, and will be a short way to the loss of British Sovereignty as now known JS
