    Default Fred Jones

I’ve been searching for records of my grandfather Fred Jones. Born 5th February 1914 in Stockport, Cheshire, England. He joined the Merchant Navy around 1948. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Hello Lisa
Just t start this off, here is the Link to his Seamans Pouch, this will have basic info in it, and you would need his CRS10 for his full Service Records. That would give you his Ships and all other info.
So if you want to go futher on this i can look up the Link for that CRS10.

Just let me know what you want to do, there will of course be charges at the National Archives, but thats normal.

    Cheers

Thankyou so much for your reply. Would you happen to know how much the national archive would charge for this?

    Hi Lisa
Here is what should be the Link to his CRS10 Cards.
As said you will have to apply for them at some cost.
You have all the details sent.
    Cheers

nb Please make sure you also give his Seamans Pouch Ref. Number when applying and as much other info as possible.
    Cheers
