The following documents, held in the UK National Archives, may be of interest:

https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ils/r/C4122494 Survivors reports, November 1940.
https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ls/r/C17590446 POW card. Somewhat brief, no photo etc.
None is downloadable so it means a personal visit or pay a researcher to carry out the work.

Hi Kilcullen, here's my tuppence's worth
''https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ls/r/C17590446 POW card. Somewhat brief, no photo etc.''
Re above, from Dave W similar from Ancestry: 48741_b429201-00015.jpg top left hand corner.
Also 20 family trees on Ancestry some private, none with any other MN records than you have already. Many family photographs available one showing John senior, his wife, son and daughter I presume? And a rather splendid one of John senior parents , Richard & Annie on their wedding day 1906. Included too are several of Richard's Army records 1901. Can send privately by email if you wish
