The Wellington Trust needs volunteers!
The Wellington Trust maintains and preserves HQS Wellington moored on the Thames opposite Temple tube. She is the last surviving convoy escort ship with 103 missions on her record. We are looking for volunteers this summer. You can volunteer for any Sunday or Monday when the ship is open. We will give training and reimburse reasonable travel expenses and provide refreshments. Must be over 16, so children, grandchildren or friends may be eligible. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities, including demonstrations of knots, bends and hitches, semaphore, bosun's call, and guiding visitors around our South Asian Seafarers exhibition and our Augmented Reality attractions, so please apply to Trustee Jenny Moseley, jmoseley@thewellingtontrust.org
Thank you.

Re: The Wellington Trust needs volunteers!
Jennifer would be delighted to volunteer if 10 years younger , especially if you are paying travelling expenses, hope your endeavours prove fruitful, I suppose it gets harder and harder these days to get people to go outside their comfort zone .Regards JS.

Re: The Wellington Trust needs volunteers!
Hello Jenny, do hope that you find all sought.
The Royal Mails stamp
I did attend the reception held on HQS Wellington for the MN Stamp of Approval.
I was invited for my part when the Royal Mail launched the first day cover stamps
commemorating the Battle of the Atlantic and to pay homage to the Merchant Navy.
Lovely vessel and venue.
Regards, Keith.
