When I was galley boy I used to throw an onion into the bucket of spuds so they would cry their eyes out.

I think it was Sheep's head with eyes in to see you through the week.
The following dishes are from some old UCL menus I still have.

    Vol-au-Vents Mogador??
    \Mousse of Ham
    Calf's Head and Feet Vinigarette
    Saute of Game
    Grendlins of Beef Portugaise
    Calves Feet en Poulette
    Turkey and Veal Kromeskis
    Soufle of Tongue
    Petit Bouchees Monglas
    Beef Suki Yaki Kowloon
    Calves head Financiere

Some sound more like road kill than items for a menu, and some are from first class.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
