Ship
Sorry Simon
Dont know of anyone at that time, but just a snippet from some news is that the Ship became famous in a way when this occured! In Nov 1937!
Reina del Pacifico became famous for a short time when, on 9 November 1937, Britain's first Labour Prime Minister, James Ramsay MacDonald (1866-1937), died of heart failure while on board.
This site may also be some interest in raeding!

There are photos of the ship in Bermuda.20000 people showed up in Hamilton, to send Ramsey off back to Lossiemouth.
Thanks for the link. The PSNC link was useful.I missed out on getting in touch with that 102 year old radio op who died recently, from one of the ships, so it is just possible to find someone.
It must have been the same sailing that left Liverpool 3rd November 1937.
