Windows was updating so much it was costing me as I had to keep paying Telstra for more time, My son came up and said he was going to change from Windows to Firefox, which he did, since then I haven't paid Telstra for over twelve months as Firefox doesn't continually update, whn it comes on to update I cancel it.

Another one Vern is (open office) that is compatible with microsoft office and like yours is free. I have it downloaded on my computer just in case.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

James. Had a similar experience in my local Aldi that only has 3 robot tills that accept cash (one was out of order) - as opposed to 6 till for cash and cards. They're trying to make us a cashless society so they can more easily monitor our money. Big brother's alive and well and watching us closely.

The Chinese have been sensible and have their own software providers. The only problem the Chinese had was booking hotel rooms with US hotel chains who of course used Microsoft Windows.
