Greed, need and religion being the main reasons for any conflict.

But over time names have stuck such as Nazi, all because the majority now know no better.
A concept brought about during WW2, but the average German was no different to the normal Pom, both wanted the best for their country.

But as is often the case, a dictator or some one with the gift of the gab come sin and stirs the populous, result often chaos.

I admired the way the way the Chinese dealt with the problem they had with the ****** population in that terrorized the Chinese population in the North. After suffering attacks on the population from knife wielding ******s they put them into a rehabilitation system for reeducation, the West where all over them for torture, imprisonment, and god knows what, but whhat they where doing which the Western press conveniently never reported was to get them away from the Korans most diabolical passages, One doesn't hear anything these days in the western media about the release of the people there with no trouble anymore, compare that with the middle East. Unfortunatly there is to much interference in other countries culture by people wanting to exploit them.

We have a shopping center near us by the name of Broadmeadows, loving known as M*****meadows dure to the local population.
Over the years we have come to know some of the traders and regular customers there.
The general feeling is that they prefer here to where ever home was because here we do not have the guy on Friday at prayers giving out hate speeches.
All we want is a peaceful life they say.
The majority have Australian nationality.

I live in a meadow as well John but with springs to complete the word. Fortuanetley there are no prayer towers with loud speaker attachments as of yet. I don’t think it would be appreciated by the ageing population of the area. If they go another mile to the west they could have their tower in the Indian Ocean with a Smitt Lloyd tug in attendance if the noise got too loud and could be towed further out if necessary, again preferably out of Australian and into International waters and give the rest of the world the benefit of their operatic performances . In regards to Britains carpet bombing of civilian targets duringWW2 it was the brainchild of "Bomber Harris" who targeted civilians in order to destroy the moral of the
German fighting forces even utilising all of the new long distance aircraft thus denying air cover to Atlantic convoys and cost a lot of ships and made it easy for the submarines.
Hi target was 1000 per night and incidently he became Managing Director of Saf Marine after the war

Israeli official policy is that their forces are not allowed to fire on a suspected Hamas activist if they think it will result in the deaths of more than 20-25 innocent civilians. With such a 'generous' collateral damage ratio, the killing of the aid workers is no surprise. We are only hearing about it because many of the victims were foreign volunteers.

I don't and never will condone what Hamas has done, they should have known what the Irsralies would do, as they must have known the war Minister in Netenyahoo's Govt was, and is the most extreme right winger who wants to wipe out the whole of Palestine.

That Des is the aim of Israel presently.
All they want is Gaza clear of all so they can claim the land, they will go to any extent to do that.
It has been the action now for many years to take all they can and bugger the rest.
