Re: Death of Innocence.
The blame for all of the victims lies solely with Hamas and their supporters, nobody else. Wars always end up going over the top, and this one is just another example.
Why didn't Hamas attack an Israeli army barracks or something on oct 7th? Why haven't Hamas released the hostages?
Pencils anyone?

Re: Death of Innocence.
Would you ever consider that the behavior of the Israeli state, forcing Palestinians out of their homes. Building settlements over the years has any baring
todays problems ? The Israelis have treated the Palestine people like second class citizens ever since the formation of the state of Israel came into being.
No one can ever condone the murders of innocents be they Palestinians or Israeli.
Why did the Israeli intelligent services not advise Natahyahu of the impending attack? Please do not say they did not know!!!! the organisation can find a needle in a haystack. They seem to have no problems finding those Iranian generals and taking them out or old Nazi's. They have a proven successful record in rescuing hostages the raid on Entebbe for instance.
Israel has an agenda concerning Gaza no matter what they may say, it is a land grab.
Israel has follwed the lead from Putin, the west will huff and puff but they will not really try and blow the house down.
Concerning the release of the hostages !!! I suspect they are long dead perhaps killed during the Israeli bombing of Gaza.

Re: Death of Innocence.
QUOTE "I should not be surprised at the lawlessness of a government that bombs and starves Palestinian civilians in Gaza, but I was still shocked by the shamelessness of Israel’s efforts to subvert the international criminal court’s investigation of its war crimes. As exposed by the Guardian along with the Israeli media outlets +972 and Local Call, the Israeli government over the course of nine years “deployed its intelligence agencies to surveil, hack, pressure, smear and allegedly threaten senior ICC staff in an effort to derail the court’s inquiries”.
Whole story here.

Re: Death of Innocence.
Latest today from Israel general,
'We anticipate the current situation continuing until the end of this year"
The comments from the so called PM who said it was a tragic mistake that 45 were killed the other day.
In my opinion Israel has been looking for an excuse over the years to do what they are now doing in Gaza.
Thye have controlled all that went in and out, medical supplies, fuel, power, food, why?
Because they want to subdue and control the Palestinians.
Israel said giving the Palestinians a country would be a gold medal to HAMAS, but not all Palestinians are HAMAS.
Given time those young now orphaned kids will be groomed by HAMAS or some other terrorist organization and in time seek revenge on Israel.

Re: Death of Innocence.
anti-Israeli posters? seems to be an awful lot of people world wide are anti Israeli. Would that be because they find the genocide that is taking place in Gaza is wrong?
This is a land grab. How anyone can condone what is going on in Gaza today something is wrong with them.
The powers that be in Israel knew what was coming down the tracks and let it happen, all they needed was an excuse slaughter innocent Palestinians
Israel has turned itself into a nation that will become international outcasts/ pariah.
Hamas are not funded by Iran they ascribe to the Sunni faith, Hezbollah are suported by Iran who are of the Shai faith.

The question is this -
Why are HAMAS dug in so deep in Palestine - which, IMO means they are welcomed by Palestinians ?
Second question -
If the Palestinians want peace, why the hell don't they forcibly evict the terrorists?
My take on the whole scenario - Israel would be more amenable to existing with Palestine if Hamas were ousted -
As long as Hamas have a presence in Palestine, the IDF and every Israeli government which follows in future years will not
rest until the terrorists are destroyed and that Israel feel their borders and people are safer.
Keep poking them and they will react violently... as is being witnessed right now.
Perhaps someone should whisper in Iran's ear .... again, IMO the silent partner / instigator of all this antagonistic fighting.
"Menachem Begin was called a terrorist and a fascist by Albert Einstein and 27 other prominent Jewish intellectuals in a letter to the New York Times which was published on December 4, 1948. Specifically condemned was the participation of the Irgun in the Deir Yassin massacre:[30]
"terrorist bands attacked this peaceful village, which was not a military objective in the fighting, killed most of its inhabitants – 240 men, women and children – and kept a few of them alive to parade as captives through the streets of Jerusalem."
Any comments or do these terrorists get a pass ? Plenty of other examples !
Please don't say its old history again. Israel is using history to justify their appalling behaviour
" What was Golda Meir's famous quote? "
"One cannot and must not try to erase the past merely because it does not fit the present. "
P.S.
This is Yahoo celebrating killing Brits including some soldiers of an army that had spent the last six years fighting to free the people of occupied countries including his own people.
"That this House notes that the sixtieth anniversary of the bombing of the King David Hotel fell on 22nd July 2006; recalls that 96 people died in this atrocity, which remains the highest death toll for British subjects in a terrorist attack; further notes that an event was held in Jerusalem to celebrate this event and that prominent members of the Knesset, including former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, attended; condemns terrorism unreservedly; and associates itself with the comments of Her Majesty's Ambassador in Tel Aviv and the Consul-General in Jerusalem, `We do not think that it is right for an act of terrorism, which led to the loss of many lives, to be commemorated"

Re: Death of Innocence.
David.
Terrorism has been practiced by many countries even Britain, most now long forgotten, such as my main beef' Japan,no country in my mind that reached depravity in their wartime crimes, the millions of Chinese and other Asians plus the Allied troops men and women. Jews suffered tremendously under the Gestapo, and now we see it again in Palestine, that Hamas is a terrorist organization is without doubt, but the Israeli have now surpassed them as a terrorist organized country with the slaughter of thousands of innocent Palestinians women and children.

Re: Death of Innocence.
Does the average Palestinian know what HAMAS is doing, possible yes.
But they are a terrorist organization and maybe the majority do not want to know, just go about their daily life.
Did all the people of Gaza vote for HAMAS?
But then again Israel has held back many supplies to Gaza, medical supplies, fuel, food and many other items required for daily life.
People promised by HAMAS that they would free them from Israel control, so yes many would believe that.
Those who do not like the Jewish people protest in favor of Palestine, then they cannot be accused of being anti Jew.
Not a lot of difference to those of Gaza who thought HAMAS would bring them freedom

Re: Death of Innocence.
Mass protests in Israel today as Benjamin Netanyahu says no to the peace plan.
Do you have inside information that the Israeli security service did NOT KNOW about planned attacks, knew nothing of these tunnels?
#230 cannot be bothered with you Dougie go find someone else to have an arguement with.

Re: Death of Innocence.
Everything James mentioned was perfectly reasonable and in most cases glaringly obvious to anyone with an open mind.
Where on earth are you getting your information from?
You call out "hypothetical piffle" anything about which you show no knowledge whatsoever.
When presented with sources you have no comment!
Please help me to understand what you watch, read or listen to from which you draw your conclusions .
I am more than willing to take a different view when presented with "evidence" from a trustworthy, believable, sourced agency.
The rest is just "hypthetical"questionable opinion.
