It is a well known fact that that USA, Uk, France, China and Russia ate some of the largest munition manufacturers in the world.
Such material cannot be stored for ever, needs to be used.
Also the manufacturers need to sell to make a profit, so there will always be arms deals going on somewhere.
Since cocky was in the egg man has been at war with his fellow man somewhere, doubtful it will ever chnage.
