    Default P&O Britannia

    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/travel/new...es/ar-AA1fQQpK

The ship was said to have hurtled into an oil tanker after strong winds left those on board stranded.
    140,000 ton ship hurtled.

Really have to wonder who signs off copy to publish these articles no available experts??

a small clip on here, shows it was pretty windy, apparently smashed her mooring wires/ropes and collided with a tanker, all crew called to emergency stations etc.

    The short answer is NO!

It always annoys me when you watch documentaries, U-tube, Naval Historians spouting their knowledge on how many tankers are sailing around disguised as Bulk carriers, container ships etc etc

    Bit more and sensible.
Passengers and some crew taken off and flown to Southampton due to one of the ships lifeboat's being damaged and not being able to be repaired on board. Ship will return to Southampton where lifeboat will be repaired.

Des, they are quite stable considering their shape.
But most only cruise where conditions are good, there can be a mishap from time to time and we have been on a couple where we have had to miss a port of call due to bad conditions.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
