Well James here is one for you concerning EV.
An EV capable of distance here in Oz, only about 400 klm, not really what you call a distance here, will set you back with home charging point about $55,000
Between us my wife and I do about 25,000 klm per year with diesel and petrol vehicles.
Current cost per year of fuel is about $3750.
State gov has put a 2.8 cents per klm tax on EV.
So for some 25,000 klm it would cost me in the order of $7,000 per year.
So where is the incentive to buy an EV?
