Re: channel crossings
Bleddy heck
Today a group of illegal migrants in a small boat refused help from a french warship, saying they only wanted to be rescued by a British ship, so our numpty border force sent a British warship to rescue the . All of them were young well dressed and fit young men. The bloody french ship should have forced them to get onboard even if it meant sinking their boat. Supposedly the French would have just taken them to a deserted airport? And stuck them there without much help, where as now they are in the u.k they will get a warm bed, three square meals per day plus pocket money.
Makes my blood boil the way we are treating these barstewards.

Re: channel crossings
Young fit men who could sort out the problems in their own country, but no, they can live free and off the state in UK.
Back in 64 a UK pound was worth about One pound two shillings Oz money.
Current rate this morning, about 52 pence to the oz dollar.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: channel crossings
You were short changed. One UK pound coin is worth $1.89 Australian dollar. And yes they are still being minted with the Kings head.

Re: channel crossings
I see your Mr Stammers is saying that when Labor win he will put a curb on immigration!!!!!!
Now is that legal or Sick Bird immigration one has to ask!
Remembering that many immigrants are in the medical profession, mainly from India, are needed and do a god job.

Re: channel crossings
Today off the coast of Italy a charitable organisation owned boat rescued over 600 illegal refugees from a drifting fishing boat. They landed them in Italy. Really is time these so called charities were told , you rescue them you look after them at the expense of the charity. This cannot continue. Most of those visable were all young men. Ship them down to Australia , you have plenty of room down there.

Re: channel crossings
Now you just listen up young James.
We only take genuine people, stopped the boat trade some years ago and we like to keep it that way.
