i was heartened today, after reading that priti patel is finally seeking to put a stop to illegal immigration into this country,basically priti patel together with her danish counter part are discussing the means of sending illegal immigrants offshore to Rwanda the corrupt west african state which this country gives billions in charity, which is borrowed monies on behalf of the taxpayers of this country,only to be squandered by the president and his inner sanctum.
i believe we have our old, and certainly our best new friend australia to thank for this forward thinking, in the appearance of tony abbot ex premier of australia and now a trade representative for the uk.
it seems that instead of just giving billions to Rwanda for the elite to purchase bigger jets and houses. the monies will be used to house and settle these poor unfortunate illegal immigrants, instead of being put up in three star hotels across the uk.

thanks for the kick up the backside,i was rushing to get it wrote out, as my wife leaves this morning for a weeks break on the south coast uk,ive also made a error with rwanda being in east africa and not west africa. But if this gets through this parliament it will be a major step towards a answer to this problem, thanks to tony abbot,

there was a programme on tv about corruption in African countries and yes most of the villas overlooking the Mediterranean ports are owned by African generals it must be good money in the army over there? we all know aid most of it goes in someones ar.e pocket and not to the people but like the suckers we are we keep sending it while one person in this country has to live on the streets then not one penny should leave here? jp

I read an article about this a few weeks back.
It showed boat loads of so called refugees coming across the sea from North Africa.
Sort of brings tears to your eyes to think they will be going back to Africa.
Would be easier to just reroute them on the way, safe the Navy from having to bring them in.

Apart from having belonged to one of the largest charities World Wide, my wife and I also give privately about 4-500 $ annually to the likes of the Flying Doctors which she has been doing for the past 30 years since I joined the throng of FIFO workers. The Cancer foundation, the Arthritis Foundation , and a few others for private reasons in all liklihood of needing in the future, which is obviously stupid reasoning. However by the same token when we get begging letters from other foundations abroad with the appropriate photos , I turn a blind eye to. Some of these countries have people in the same currency restrictions we have , so their own people should supply for their own, anyhow most are scams in any case JS

There are so many out there who claim to be helping, fact is the only ones they help are themselves.
Some charities give as little as 5% of total monies to the actual charity.
Well the CEO must have nice car, secretary etc.

I only give monthly to the hospital where both my brother and I had our Prostate surgery.
